Hi, I'm Janet Gonzales (she/her). I'm a UX Designer, originally from New York, now spending most of my time in Salt Lake City, Utah and Portland, Oregon. I currently work for NICE as a Senior Product Designer on their Illuminate AI team.

I have experience designing software, websites and apps, as a team of one or as part of a greater team. Prior to my start as a UX Designer, I studied History (MA) and Entrepreneurship (MBA), worked in finance (Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, UBS, Fidelity), and managed several branch offices in the West. This experience helps me to be business-minded in my approach to UX design, while still focused on creating meaningful and user-friendly experiences.

I love design because every day is different and I get the opportunity to create something truly impactful and work together with incredible developers and PMs.

In my free time I enjoy traveling, figure skating, volunteering as Marketing Director of AIGA Portland, and taking on awesome freelance projects :)
